A-1 drives to the basket and is fouled attempting a layup. The ball hits the backboard and is inside the net when A-2 jumps up and hits the ball. The ball passes through the basket.
Handle the situation.
A-2 touching the ball while it is inside the net is offensive basket interference. The goal is disallowed. Since A-1 was fouled in the act of shooting and the goal was not successful, A-1 should be awarded two free throws. Play will continue as normal after the last free throw.
