A try by A-2 hits the ring and bounces up onto the backboard. B-5, without a good reason, grabs the ring. The official sounds the whistle for a technical foul on B-5. B-5 releases the ring and the ball passes through the basket after this.
Handle the situation.
The try was still underway when B-5 grabbed the ring. The fact that the official sounded a whistle for the infraction of grabbing the ring does not end the try. The goal counts. Team A will be awarded two free throws and the ball at the division line opposite the table for a designated spot throw-in.
