  1. B1 fouls A1. Team A is in the bonus, but the official erroneously awards the ball to Team A for a throw-in. A1’s throw-in is intercepted by B1 who scores a goal. A1’s throw-in is controlled by A2 who dribbles in to Team’s A front court and Team A’s head coach request a timeout to discuss a correctable error. The scorer advises the referee that Team A was in the bonus when B1 fouled A1. Is it still correctable or is it too late to correct?
  2. The official is in Team A’s frontcourt when he is contacted by a pass thrown by A1 from Team A’s backcourt. After touching the official, the ball rebounds to the backcourt where it is recovered by A2. Legal or violations?
  3. After dribbling and coming to a stop, A1 throws the ball which hits an official and rebounds back to A1 who catches the ball and starts another dribble. Legal or violation?
  4. Team A is leading by 30 points late in the 4th Each team has 8 team fouls. Under intense full court pressure, A9 becomes confused and throws the ball at the wrong basket. A9 is fouled by B1 and the ball goes into the basket. Is this a successful basket? If A1 missed, would A1 be awarded two free throws for the foul by B1?
  5. Team A leads 46-44 after a made field goal by Team B. The timer mistakenly stops the clock shortly following the Team B goal. The game clock reads 5.0 seconds remaining. The official sounds the whistle after reaching a throw-in count of three to address the stopped clock. How do you correctly handle the situation?
  6. Team A is awarded an alternating-possession throw-in. A1 lobs the throw-in pass toward A2 who is breaking to the basket. The throw-in pass is too high and lodges between the ring and backboard. How do you correctly handle the situation?
  7. A1 ends a dribble and then jumps and releases the ball on a try for goal. B1 partially blocks the shot, but A1 secures control again while still in the air. A1 returns to the floor and dribbles to the basket and scores. Legal or violation?
  8. Team A is in control in its backcourt for seven seconds. A1 throws the ball toward A2 in the frontcourt, B1 jumps from Team A’s frontcourt and while in the air bats the ball back to A1 in A’s backcourt. Does this give Team A 10 more seconds to get the ball to the frontcourt?
