B-5 gathers a rebound.  While B-5 is in possession of the ball and in the air, the official inadvertantly sounds the whistle.  The coach claims that the ball should be awarded using the alternating possession procedure.

A-5 grabs a rebound and attempts to pass the ball to A-1 running down the floor.  A-5’s pass is too long. It hits the floor, bounces up off the backboard and passes through the basket while the clock is running.

A-1 passes the ball to A-2.  A-2 catches the ball with the left foot on the floor inside the three point arc with the right foot in the air.  A-2 places the right foot on the floor behind the three-point arc, picks up the left and puts it down on the floor behind the arc.

Late in a close game, Team A takes a timeout.  After the timeout only four players return to the court for Team A and the ball is put into play.  After the ball is in play, the coach of Team A notices that there are only four players on the court and sends A-5 into the game from the bench.
