The play described below is provided for your review and discussion. The rulings given are based on NFHS rules. NCAA rulings may be different.

Team B makes a huge rally to come back from 10 points down with 1:31 left in the game.  Team B is two points down during the final few seconds of play.  With less than six seconds to play, B-1 drives the lane and is fouled in the act of shooting a layup which passes through the goal to tie the game with 1.6 seconds on the clock.

The Team B bench erupts cheering.  #15 runs onto the court and high fives B-1 under the basket.

Handle the situation.

#15 is charged with a technical foul for unauthorized entry onto the court.  There is no ejection involved since there was no fight or confrontation going on.  B-1 will be awarded his free throw with no players lined up.  Then any player or eligible substitute from Team A will attempt the free throws for the technical foul.  Team A will be awarded the ball for a throw-in at the division line opposite the table.

Unfortunate for Team B, as Bench Player # 15 was stupid in his action and could cause the team
    to lose the game.
