The play described below is provided for your review and discussion. The rulings given are based on NFHS rules. NCAA rulings may be different.

During the first quarter, it is discovered that #14 for Team A is not in the official scorebook.  Team A is penalized with a technical foul.  During the second quarter, #23 for Team A is found to not be in the official scorebook.  

Handle the situation.


Since Team A has already received one technical foul for issues under 10-1-2, no additional penalty will be imposed.  #23 will be added to the book and the the game will continue from the point of interruption.
