A-1 attempts a layup. While the ball is on the ring, A-4 hits the net. The touching of the net has no effect on the status of the ball.
Handle the situation.
Although touching the basket while the ball is on the ring can be basket interference, when the net is touched, the official must judge whether such touching had an effect on the play. In this case, since there was no effect on the play, the play should be allowed to continue without a whistle.
