A-5 drives to the basket and in the process of laying the ball on the backboard, slaps the backboard causing it to vibrate.
Handle the situation.
There has been considerable discussion on this point. Some officials are claiming that this would warrant a technical foul for unsporting conduct. It is certainly possible that such ruling could be made under the taunting and baiting rule. However, the NFHS has indicated that, in almost all of these circumstances when an offensive player does this, offensive basket interference should be ruled rather than a technical foul.
